The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Sint Maarten in the 3rd Quarter of 2019 is 100.59. This represents an increase of 0.35 percent, when compared to that of 2nd Quarter 2019.
When comparing the consumer prices from the same period 12 months previously (3rd Quarter 2018 to 3rd Quarter 2019), an increase of 0.09 percent was recorded.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Sint Maarten in the 2nd Quarter of 2019 is 100.24. This represents a decrease of 0.05 percent, when compared to that of 1st Quarter 2019.
When comparing the consumer prices from the same period 12 months previously (2nd Quarter 2018 to 2nd Quarter 2019), an increase of 0.61 percent was recorded.
The Consumer Price Index for Sint Maarten in the first quarter of 2019 is 100.3, up from 99.63 in the first quarter of 2018, which is a 0.67 percent increase.
The Department of Statistics (STAT) has implemented a new data collection and Consumer Price Index calculation system that allows for the publication of more detailed results. The previous system had become obsolete and as such was discontinued at the end of 2017.
