The Consumer Price Index for Sint Maarten has decreased in the month of October 2015 by -0.1 percent compared to August 2015.

When comparing average consumer prices over a twelve month period (Oct. 2014 to Oct. 2015), an increase of 0.6 percent was recorded compared to the same period one year earlier.

The Department of Statistics (STAT) released today its preliminary Gross Domestic Product (GDP) estimates of 2014, at 1.7% growth in real terms. This represents a slight improvement in the overall economy relative to the year before (2013), when final estimates put economic growth at 1.3%.
